We welcome you to support the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program by sponsoring the inaugural Red, White & Blue Party hosted by the Young Professionals of the American Cancer Society in Boston. Our fundraising gala will create a unique experience for our guests with an evening cruise on the Majesty departing from Long Wharf, full of food, live music, and fun while we honor our community's cancer survivors and continue the fight against cancer.
Transportation is a common barrier facing cancer patients during treatment. Through Road to Recovery, the American Cancer Society offers free rides to patients by coordinating with volunteers and purchasing rides from services like Ride Health and Lyft. Road to Recovery is more than just a ride; it helps patients access the care they need. It is our goal to make sure as many transportation requests as possible are fulfilled.
The funds raised through this event will directly benefit Road to Recovery programs in eastern Massachusetts. The six counties experiencing the most significant need are Bristol, Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk. In 2019 alone, Road to Recovery provided over 10,000 rides in Massachusetts!
Making the decision to partner with the American Cancer Society means you will be making the decision to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
Thank you for considering partnering with us in the fight against cancer!
